Easton City, WA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle near Easton City on Wednesday night, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The crash happened on Interstate 90, at about 9:45 p.m. December 25.
According to WSP, a 34-year-old man driving in the area lost control, drifted onto the right shoulder, and hit a pedestrian standing in the area.
The victim, a 35-year-old from Sandpoint, Indiana, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver and his three passengers were not hurt.
The WSP reports that the driver was traveling too fast for the conditions.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
