Man Killed in Phoenix Pedestrian Accident at Jefferson and 11th Avenue
Phoenix, Arizona (June 30, 2023) – A man is dead after being struck by a vehicle on Thursday evening in Phoenix.
The fatal crash happened near Jefferson and 11th Avenue at around 9 p.m., in the area of Jefferson and 11th Avenue, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.
Witnesses told the police that the man was standing in the roadway and was hit by an SUV.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The SUV driver stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Police do not believe impairment was a factor in the accident.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
