Florin, CA. – A pedestrian was hit and injured by a vehicle in Florin on Friday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident took place on Gerber Road at Whisperwillow Drive at about 3:50 p.m. March 21.
According to CHP, a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on the eastbound side of Gerber Road under unclear circumstances.
The victim was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
At least one eastbound lane of Gerber Road was shut down as authorities investigated the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
