One Person Killed in Fontana Pedestrian Accident at Cherry and Merrill Avenues
Fontana, California (November 9, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol said one person was killed in a pedestrian accident that happened Thursday morning at an intersection in Fontana.
The collision was reported around 7:32 a.m. at Cherry and Merrill avenues.
A big rig hit a pedestrian under unclear circumstances.
The pedestrian was lying in the roadway after the accident.
CHP said the victim died from injuries sustained in the crash.
No other details were given but an investigation is ongoing.
