Sonoma, CA. – One person was severely injured in a traffic collision that happened Tuesday afternoon in Sonoma, the California Highway Patrol reported.
At around 12:29 p.m., two vehicles collided in the 20090 block of Arnold Drive.

One person sustained a severe head injury. An air ambulance was first requested to airlift the victim to the hospital, but the request was canceled, and the patient was transported by ground ambulance in unspecified condition.
Both traffic lanes were briefly blocked following the crash.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
