San Diego County, CA. – One person was hurt in a head-on collision involving an ambulance that happened Sunday evening at an intersection in Lakeside, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash was reported around 7:32 p.m. at Wildcat Canyon Road and Pata Ranch Road.
CHP said an ambulance collided head-on with another vehicle under unclear circumstances.
Firefighters responded to the scene and blocked both northbound and southbound lanes of Wildcat Canyon Road.
No one inside the ambulance was injured, but one person in the other car sustained minor injuries.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
