Shasta County, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a car accident that took place Tuesday evening at an intersection in Shasta County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 8:37 p.m. on eastbound State Route 44 at Silver Bridge Road in Palo Cedro.
A Nissan sedan and a minivan were involved in the collision. One of the cars was left blocking Silver Bridge Road, and the other was on the right shoulder of SR-44.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported one person to the hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
