Redding, CA. – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday morning on the Sacramento River Bridge in Redding, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident occurred around 7:51 a.m. near State Route 44 and Interstate 5.
A motorcycle, a white Nissan Altima, a Toyota, and two other cars were involved in the collision.
The motorcyclist sustained minor road rash. The patient was taken to Mercy Medical Center Redding for treatment.
The motorcycle and at least two cars were towed away with crash damage.
CHP officers are investigating the accident.
