According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck took place around 2:56 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the interstate near the Colorado Street off-ramp.
A silver Kia and a black Toyota were involved in the accident.
Firefighters responded to the scene and transported one person to Glendale Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.
CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
