According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place around 4:49 p.m. on eastbound Highway 126, just west of Peck Road.
Santa Paula, CA. – One person was hospitalized with major injuries after a traffic collision that happened Friday afternoon in Santa Paula.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place around 4:49 p.m. on eastbound Highway 126, just west of Peck Road.
A white Ford EcoSport and another car were involved in the crash. The Ford was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the collision. The car overturned off the roadway into the fields and landed back on its wheels. About 50 feet of barbed wire fence and a Peck Road exit sign were damaged.
The driver of the Ford was transported to the hospital with major injuries.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
