Two vehicles collided Thursday afternoon at Southgate Avenue, blocking traffic lanes

, Calif. – One person was injured in a traffic collision that took place Thursday afternoon on a highway in Chico, the California Highway Patrol said.

At around 3:37 p.m., two vehicles collided on northbound at Southgate Avenue.

Responding officers found a Dodge Ram dually and another vehicle blocking the No. 1 and left turn lane.

Paramedics also responded and evaluated the motorists. One person was treated for minor injuries.

Authorities did not immediately determine the cause of the accident.
