33-Year-Old Oakland Man Killed in Oakland Crash on International Boulevard and Seminary Avenue
Oakland, California (August 22, 2021) – A man was killed in a car accident that occurred in East Oakland early Sunday morning, according to Oakland police.
The incident took place in the area of International Boulevard and Seminary Avenue at around 3:15 a.m.
Police said a 33-year-old Oakland man was driving a Toyota Prius east on International Boulevard when he collided with an Infiniti FX35 traveling south on Seminary Avenue.
33-Year-Old Driver Killed in Oakland Car Crash
The impact pushed the Toyota off the side of the road and it crashed into a building.
The driver of the Toyota died at the scene.
The driver of the Infiniti, a 20-year-old Oakland woman, was taken to a hospital and was in stable condition.
It’s unclear whether alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.
The Oakland Police Department is investigating the incident.
