Navdeep Singh Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Highway 180
Fresno, California (August 12, 2021) – 35-year-old Navdeep Singh has been identified as the man who died after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Fresno.
The fatal pedestrian accident occurred on Highway 180 near State Route 41 at approximately 2:30 a.m.
The crash happened when a vehicle driven by Navdeep Singh slammed into the back of a semi-truck on the westbound side of State Route 180.
Singh exited his car in the lane and began walking to the right-hand shoulder of the highway, where he was struck by an oncoming Honda Civic, according to the California Highway Patrol report.

Navdeep died at the Community Regional Medical Center while undergoing treatment of life-threatening injuries.
There was no other person hurt, including the Honda Civic operator.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
