Driver Sustains Injuries in Riverside Car Accident on 215 Freeway at Van Buren Boulevard

Riverside, California (November 3, 2023) – A driver was injured in a rear-end accident early Friday morning in Riverside.

According to the authorities, the collision occurred at around 6:55 a.m. on Interstate 215 North, north of Van Buren Boulevard.

Per the report, an off-duty Cal Fire RIV firefighter was rear-ended on the right shoulder by a second car in unclear circumstances.

The second driver suffered injuries, but the extent of the injuries was not released.

The victim was transported by ground ambulance to the hospital for treatment.
