Reportedly, a motorcyclist on a Harley-Davidson hit the pavement wall, lost control of the bike, and then collided with a recreational vehicle.
Del Norte County, CA. – A motorcyclist was severely injured in a collision that happened late Saturday morning in Klamath, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident occurred at about 11:46 a.m. on Highway 101.
Reportedly, a motorcyclist on a Harley-Davidson hit the pavement wall, lost control of the bike, and then collided with a recreational vehicle.
The rider and the motorcycle were left blocking the roadway.
Klamath firefighters responded to the scene and found the motorcyclist suffering from major injuries. The victim was hospitalized in an unknown condition.
Both southbound lanes and one northbound lane of the highway were blocked following the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.
