CHP said a silver sedan allegedly ran a red light and collided with a motorcycle.

Sacramento, CA. – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a car reportedly ran a red light and caused a crash Friday evening in Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 6:11 p.m. on westbound Fair Oaks Boulevard just east of Manzanita Avenue near Carmichael.
CHP said a silver sedan allegedly ran a red light and collided with a motorcycle.
Firefighters responded and transported the rider to the hospital with severe injuries.
The intersection of Fair Oaks Boulevard and Manzanita Avenue was closed following the accident.
