Rider Sustains Major Injuries in Hayward Motorcycle Crash on 238 Freeway near 14th Street
Hayward, California (September 18, 2023) – On Monday morning, a rider was seriously injured after a crash involving a Tesla on Interstate 238 in Hayward.
Authorities received reports of a serious motorcycle accident at around 6:15 a.m. on the northbound 238 Freeway just south of East 14th Street of-ramp.
A white sports motorcycle and a Tesla were involved in the mishap. The events leading up to the crash were not immediately established.
The rider was ejected from the motorcycle and sustained a serious injury on their leg.
The motorcycle sustained kickstand minor damage to the right. A tow truck was requested for the motorcycle.
