Man Killed in San Jose Motorcycle Accident on South 7th Street
San Jose, California (September 10, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision in San Jose on Friday morning.
The fatal collision happened at about 8:30 a.m. along South 7th Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A man was riding a motorcycle southbound on South 7th Street when he collided with a 2017 Ford pickup.
The police said the pickup truck made a left turn from the west shoulder and directly in front of the motorcycle.
The rider was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital where he died while undergoing treatment, according to the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
