National City, CA. – A motorcyclist was injured in a traffic collision that happened Thursday morning in National City, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident occurred around 6:56 a.m. on northbound Interstate 805 near 47th Street.
The crash involved a motorcycle and a silver Toyota 4Runner.
Authorities said the motorcycle was splitting lanes when the car cut into the HOV lane and cut off the motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries.
Authorities are investigating the I-805 Freeway accident.
