Lynwood, CA. – A motorcyclist was injured in a traffic collision that happened Wednesday evening on Interstate 105 in Lynwood, the California Highway Patrol said.
Authorities were notified about the collision around 6:55 p.m. in the westbound lanes of the interstate just east of Interstate 710.
A motorcycle and a sedan were involved in the collision.
The rider was lying down in the HOV lane after the accident.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the motorcyclist to the hospital with major injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
