Oakland, CA. – A motorcyclist was injured in a multi-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday morning in Oakland, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The pileup took place around 9:05 a.m. on southbound Interstate 880 at the 98th Avenue overpass.
A motorcycle and two cars were involved in the crash.
Oakland firefighters responded to the scene shortly after receiving reports of the collision.
The rider was transported to Highland Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, including the complaint of pain to the ankle.
CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
