According to the California Highway Patrol, the pileup was reported around 8:10 p.m. in the westbound lanes of the interstate near west of Ribbonwood Road in Boulevard.
Six vehicles, including a semi-truck with a trailer loaded with hay, were involved in the collision. Two of the cars caught fire after the crash.
At least one person sustained minor injuries in the accident, as per authorities.
CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
