Fairfield, CA. – One person was hurt in a multi-vehicle collision that took place Saturday evening in Fairfield, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident was reported around 6:53 p.m. on westbound Interstate 80, just east of the Travis Boulevard off-ramp.
A white Chevrolet SUV with a week-old infant occupant, a white Chevrolet Tahoe, and a third vehicle were involved in the accident.
Paramedics responded to the scene and evaluated the car occupants. The paramedics said only minor injuries were sustained. It was unclear if the infant was hurt.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collision.
