Tacoma, AZ – Matthew James Hadway was injured in a pedestrian crash Sunday afternoon in Tacoma.

The incident happened on South 48th Street near Best Buy, according to the Tacoma Police Department.

Police say Hadway was crossing South 48th Street near the Best Buy in a crosswalk when he was hit by a car.

He was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.

The driver that hit him stayed on scene and was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, and for not having a valid license or insurance.
