Marina Hernandez Killed in Car Accident on 210 Freeway near Ayala Drive in Rialto

Rialto, California (September 18, 2023) – 66-year-old Marina Ruiz Hernandez, of Los Angeles, has been identified as the passenger who was killed in a car crash earlier this month in Rialto.

The accident happened at around 2:32 p.m. on September 5, on the eastbound 210 Freeway near Ayala Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A white work van and a white Acura were involved in the crash, but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.

Hernandez, a resident of Los Angeles, was a passenger in one of the cars. She was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center where she died later that afternoon.

More details about the accident were not released.

The California Highway Patrol-Inland Division is investigating the cause of the accident.
