Police said Manup Chai HE was heading northbound in a 2005 Lexus IS350 when he struck a male pedestrian in the lane.
San Diego, CA. – Manup Chai HE, 48, of San Diego has been identified as a male Pedestrian killed in a crash last month in San Diego.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 8:30 p.m. on June 20, in the 100 block of S Meadowbrook Drive.
Chai HE was crossing the streets when for unknown reasons he was struck by a Lexus sedan.
Chai HE was rushed to Scripps Mercy Hospital, where he later died.

San Diego, CA. – A pedestrian suffered critical injuries following a traffic accident on Thursday night in Skyline, San Diego, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The crash happened at about 8:30 p.m. on June 20, in the 100 block of S Meadowbrook Drive.
Police said a 20-year-old man was heading northbound in a 2005 Lexus IS350 when he struck a male pedestrian in the lane.
The man sustained head and body trauma and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. He was listed in a critical condition.
Police are still trying to determine who was at fault.
Authorities did not believe alcohol or drugs to have played a role in the accident.
An investigation is ongoing.
