Phoenix, AZ. – A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday morning in Phoenix.
Four vehicles collided in the area of 7th Street and Beardsley Road for an unknown reason.
Police officers and fire crews responded to the scene.
One of the cars sustained major damage to the side, and another acquired major front-end damage. A man was trapped inside one of the vehicles.
Firefighters had to cut the victim out of the wreckage. The man was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. It was unclear if the other involved persons were injured.
Investigators closed 7th Street from Deer Valley Drive to Loop 101 following the crash.
