Motorcycle Rider Hit and Killed by Car at Park and Orange Grove Avenues in Pomona
Pomona, California (July 5, 2023) – A motorcyclist died after he was struck by a car Tuesday afternoon at an intersection in Pomona.
According to the Pomona Police Department, the deadly collision occurred at about 5:11 p.m. at Park and Orange Grove avenues.
Police said the accident happened under unclear circumstances.
Responding officers performed lifesaving measures until paramedics arrived.
The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities will release the man’s name when they notify his family.
The car driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officers.
The intersection was closed until shortly after 10 p.m.
