Police said a man was in the crosswalk walking across the roadway without a light when he was hit by a truck
Vancouver, WA.– A man was hit and killed by a vehicle near an intersection in Vancouver on Thursday evening, according to the Vancouver Police Department.
The crash happened in the area of Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard and Northeast 117th Avenue just before 6:30 p.m. November 21.
Police said a man was in the crosswalk walking across the roadway without a light when he was hit by a truck.
The victim was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and was not suspected of DUI.
The Vancouver Police Department is investigating the accident.
