, CA. – A man died after being struck by two cars on Friday night in Huntington Beach.

The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened around 10 p.m. in the area of Warner Avenue and Beach Boulevard, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.

A pedestrian was crossing the street and was struck by a 2022 Lexus IS 500 and a 2011 Ford Fusion.

The 55-year-old male pedestrian was transported to the hospital where he died while receiving treatment. Both drivers stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.

Impairment did not appear to be a factor for either of the drivers.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
