Lancaster, CA. – A man in a wheelchair was fatally struck by a car on Sierra Highway in Lancaster Friday night.
According to the authorities, the incident happened at around 11 p.m. on Sierra Highway and Milling Street.
Reportedly, a man driving an SUV north on Sierra Highway struck a man in a wheelchair while he was crossing the intersection east to west.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the crash site.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately released.
