Man and Woman Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Spring Street at Charlemagne Avenue in Long Beach
Long Beach, CA. – A man and a woman riding on a motorcycle were injured in a crash Sunday evening on Spring Street in Long Beach.
The crash occurred about 7:40 p.m. on Spring Street at Charlemagne Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
As per the report, the motorcycle was headed westbound on Spring Street when the driver of a car made a left turn in front of them from Charlemagne Avenue to eastbound Spring Street when the collision occurred.
Paramedics rushed the man to a hospital where he underwent surgery for a lower-body injury and was listed in critical condition.
The woman was also hospitalized with minor injuries, treated, and was in stable condition.
The man driving the car was not hurt and remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
It did not appear impaired driving was a factor in the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
