Man Injured in Central Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Hughes Avenue at Weber Avenue

Fresno, California (September 19, 2023) – Authorities are investigating a pedestrian crash on Hughes Avenue in Central Fresno Tuesday morning.
The incident was reported just before 6:30 a.m. on Hughes Avenue at Weber Avenue.
According to the Fresno Police Department, a man was using a walker when struck by a vehicle.
The man was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center, but the reports did not state his condition.
The driver behind the wheels stayed at the scene and is being detained.
Hughes between Weber and Cornell is closed as the investigation continues. Drivers should avoid the area.
