Santa Fe Springs, CA – One person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision that happened in Santa Fe Springs on Thursday night.

At around 10:17 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a car accident on the 5 Freeway near Valley View Avenue.

The officers who responded to the incident recovered two vehicles at the accident scene. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established. One of the cars reportedly overturned after the collision.
