Fontana, Calif. – Two people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle that happened Monday afternoon at an intersection in Fontana, the California Highway Patrol said.

The accident was reported around 5:05 p.m. near Arrow Boulevard and Beech Avenue.

A motorcycle and two cars were involved in the collision.

The accident resulted in major injuries. The rider and another person were transported by AMR to the hospital. The report did not specify the extent of injuries sustained by each patient.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
