Santa Maria, CA. – At least one person was severely injured in a traffic collision that took place Tuesday morning in Santa Maria, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident occurred around 8:42 a.m. on State Route 166 and Pine Canyon Road.
About four vehicles, including a box van truck and a Chevrolet Silverado, were involved in the crash.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene shortly after the accident.
At least one person sustained major injuries in the crash. The patient was hospitalized in an unknown condition.
Both lanes were briefly closed following the collision.
