Louie Adcock Killed in Yakima County Accident on US 97
Yakima County, Washington (October 30, 2023) – Louie H. Adcock, 85, of Yakima, died after being involved in an accident in Yakima earlier this month, according to a report by the Washington State Patrol .
The wreck happened at about 1 p.m. October 25, on US 97 near Lateral Road 1.
The WSP said a 52-year-old Lacey woman was driving northbound on SR 97 when she collided with a southbound vehicle that was turning onto Lateral Road 1.
A passenger in the northbound vehicle, identified as Adcock, was killed in the crash.
The Lacey woman was taken to Multicare Yakima Memorial for treatment.
No other injuries were reported.
