Bicyclist Suffers Major Injuries in Livingston Accident on Vinewood Avenue near Robin Avenue
Livingston, California (September 8, 2021) – A Livingston bicyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in a traffic collision in Livingston Tuesday morning, a local news source reported.
The major injury crash occurred on Vinewood Avenue, west of Robin Avenue, at approximately 7:20 a.m.
A Ford F-750 two-axle truck driven by 45-year-old Lane Johnson eastbound on Vinewood Avenue clipped a bicycle ridden by a 14-year-old boy in the same direction under unclear circumstances.
Major Injury Livingston Bicycle Accident
Due to the impact, the teenager was ejected from the bike and sustained major injuries.
The unidentified victim was airlifted to the Valley Children’s Hospital for medication.
The California Highway Patrol affirmed Johnson remained at the crash site and cooperated with the law enforcers.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
