Rider Injured in Lake Wildwood Bicycle Accident at Wildflower Drive and Pleasant Valley Road
Nevada County, California (August 19, 2021) – A bicyclist was injured after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning in Lake Wildwood, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 10:47 a.m. Wednesday, August 18, at the intersection of Wildflower Drive and Pleasant Valley Road.
CHP said a vehicle hit the bicyclist for undetermined reasons at the intersection.
Bicyclist Injured in Lake Wildwood Crash
Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to the bicycle rider who sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash. The name and current condition of the patient were not immediately available.
It was not immediately clear if the driver involved stopped at or fled the scene after the crash.
