According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck happened at around 6:40 p.m. on Soquel Drive at Fairway Drive.
Reportedly, a silver Ford Escape struck a juvenile pedestrian in the area in unclear circumstances.
The victim, whose name was not disclosed suffered severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
