Portland, OR – The man who was killed in a head-on collision in Northeast Portland late June has been identified as John M. Boyd, 44, of Portland, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
The crash took place at about 1:32 a.m. June 29, on Interstate 84 near Northeast 162 Avenue.
According to the report, Heather Graig, 34, was driving a car east in the westbound lanes of I-84 when she collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle driven by Boyd.
Boyd was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Graig was also taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
Police said Graig was charged with first-degree manslaughter, DUI, reckless driving, and reckless endangerment of another person.
