Joel Hoff Killed in San Simeon Pedestrian Accident on Highway 1
San Simeon, California (August 14, 2021) – Joel Jacob Hoff, 27, of San Simeon was struck and killed by a vehicle on Friday afternoon in San Simeon, according to the authorities.
The crash took place at around 12:45 p.m. August 13, on Highway 1, north of Old Stage Coach Road.
CHP said Hoff was walking northbound on the highway when he went into the path of a southbound GMC driven by Andrew Oosterhoff, 40, of Winthrop, Washington.

Hoff was struck by the GMC and he died at the scene.
The accident is under investigation.
