South Lewis County, WA.- A motorcyclist was killed in a collision in South Lewis County on Monday evening, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The wreck happened on State Route 506 near Interstate 5 at around 6:25 p.m. September 23.
WSP said Jennie R. Johnston, 46, of Toledo, was riding a 2024 Yamaha motorcycle eastbound on SR 506 when she was hit by a westbound 2003 Nissan Pathfinder that was making a left turn onto southbound I-5.
Johnston was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Nissan, Beatriz Martinez Aviles, 36, of Woodland, and her two passengers were unhurt.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the incident, WSP said.
The investigation is ongoing.
