At Least 1 Sustains Serious Injuries in Traffic Collision at Watt Avenue and Butano Drive
Sacramento, California (June 28, 2023) – At least one person was seriously hurt in an Arden-Arcade accident that left a car wedged underneath a semi-truck early Wednesday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck occurred at around 2:37 a.m. at Watt Avenue and Butano Drive.
CHP said a Jeep collided with a semi-truck under unclear circumstances.
The Jeep ended up wedged underneath the big rig.
The vehicles were blocking the northbound lanes of Watt Avenue.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and helped at least one person who sustained severe injuries.
Police are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
