Kern County, California (September 18, 2023) – A woman suffered minor injuries after a possible head-on collision on State Route 46 in Wasco City early Monday morning

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at around 5:37 a.m. on the eastbound Highway 46 just west of Smith Avenue.

Reportedly, a white Chevrolet Silverado collided, possibly head-on, with a second car in the roadway for reasons not yet established.

A female driver was injured and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Due to limited available information regarding the incident, the police are investigating to determine the events surrounding the wreck.
