Ilai Peterson Killed in Fatal Chandler Collision on Price and Ray Roads

Chandler, Arizona – Ilai Peterson, 9, has been identified as the boy who was killed in an auto-pedestrian collision in Chandler on Saturday morning, according the authorities.
The deadly wreck happened in the area of Price and Ray roads at around 10:30 a.m. November 11.
Police said two vehicles crashed as one of them was making a left turn.
One of the cars then went into the sidewalk and collided with pedestrians.
One of the pedestrians, identified as Ilai, was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
His father, Aaron Peterson, was also one of the pedestrians and was hospitalized for his injuries.
A third pedestrian was not injured.
An investigation to determine the cause of the crash is ongoing.
