Hoang Mai Phan Killed in Santa Ana Pedestrian Crash on North Euclid Street

Santa Ana, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a motorcycle in Santa Ana on Saturday night, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.

The accident happened in the 1000 block of North Euclid Street at around 7 p.m. February 1.

According to the police, Hoang Mai Phan, 58, of Garden Grove, was walking east on Euclid Street when a southbound motorcyclist struck him.

Phan was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police reported that alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
