Helena Rhinehart Dies in Fresno County Crash on Highway 168
Fresno County, California (September 6, 2023) – The woman who was killed in a collision in Fresno County on Tuesday morning has been identified by the Fresno County Coroner's Office as Helena Rhinehart, 37, of Clovis.
The accident occurred on Highway 168 near Ashlan Avenue at about 3:00 a.m. September 5.
A Dodge driver reportedly lost control and collided with a Nissan on the eastbound side of Highway 168.
Both drivers were pinned in the wreckage and were rescued by emergency crews.
The driver of the Nissan, identified as Helena Rhinehart, died following the collision.
The other driver, only identified as a 23-year-old man, was hospitalized with major injuries.
The accident is under investigation.
