The driver of the Toyota and the driver of the Traverse as well as her juvenile passenger were hospitalized with minor injuries
Fairfield, CA. – Hasham Camel, 63, has been identified by the Solano County Sheriff-Coroner's Office as the man who died in a car crash.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened at Ascot Parkway and Sterling Street at around 4:45 p.m.
A 2004 gray Toyota Solara was traveling north on Ascot Parkway when the driver lost control, drifted across the centerline and collided with a 2009 white Chevy Traverse traveling south on Ascot Parkway.
The impact of the collision caused the Traverse to crash into a 1992 blue Nissan Sentra, also traveling southbound.
Camel was a passenger in the Toyota and was taken to the hospital where he later died.
The driver of the Toyota and the driver of the Traverse as well as her juvenile passenger were hospitalized with minor injuries.
The three occupants of the Nissan Sentra were unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
