Juvenile Injured in Goleta Bicycle Crash on N. Fairview Ave
Goleta, California (November 9, 2023) – A juvenile bicyclist was hit and injured by a vehicle in Goleta on Wednesday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The incident took place on N. Fairview Avenue and Berkley Road at about 3:07 p.m. November 8.
Authorities said two juvenile bicyclists were traveling on Berkley Road when they crossed the intersection on a green light.
One of the riders was struck by a westbound white Honda Civic that tried to turn left onto N. Fairview Avenue.
The victim had injuries to his legs and ankles.
Medics treated the boy at the scene and he was then transported to Cottage Hospital for further evaluation.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
